Choose your role
Find the Trainer’s Shrine while progressing through Act 2, The Dungeon.
- 02
Match your progression
Halberdier: choose cleaving and finishing attacks. Valkyrie: choose a party hymn and lightning. Dragoon: choose jump attacks.

Prepare your equipment
The reported Dragonlord route targets Act 8 for its Sigil and Act 6 for its Tome.
- 04
Target the right material
Check the in-game item name before buying: older guides vary between Dragon Lord and Dragonlord, and misspell Warbringer.

What to watch
Dragonlord is an Ultra class. Dragon is a race. They are different systems and do not establish each other’s unlock requirements.
Race, trait and Scroll fit
Pick a trait to solve your actual need: Quick Study for progression, Survivor for a margin against lethal damage, or Prodigy for broad bonuses. No measured Spear damage comparison is claimed.

How do I unlock a Spear Super class?
The reviewed progression guide places a Trainer’s Shrine card in Act 2, The Dungeon. Choose the desired branch there. It describes the choice as permanent for that hero.
Does a Tome unlock my Ultra class?
The matching Ultra Sigil handles awakening. Ultra Tomes are for later Ultra skills. Read the item’s class restriction before using it.
