Read a stat’s label, then the skill or effect that uses it. A listed bonus is useful evidence; an unexplained community damage equation is not.
The main labels
| Label | What to compare | Useful distinction |
|---|---|---|
| HP / Max HP | Current health and the maximum health pool. | A heal based on maximum HP differs from one based on damage dealt. |
| Attack | The offensive stat named by physical effects. | Do not automatically apply an Attack bonus to every magic skill. |
| Magic | The offensive stat named by magic effects. | Mage, some Bard effects and several racial bonuses refer to Magic. |
| DEF / Defense | The defensive stat shown on the character or equipment. | A Defense percentage and direct damage reduction are different descriptions. |
| Energy | The resource used by skills and some Guard actions. | Starting Energy and Energy restored on a kill have different triggers. |
| Critical chance | The chance of a critical event. | A +2% critical-chance bonus is not +2% damage to every attack. |
| Dodge | The avoidance bonus listed on effects. | A dodge chance and a wider manual Dodge window are not the same mechanic. |
| Speed / SPD | A named stat affected by bonuses such as Tempest. | The reviewed evidence does not establish a precise turn-order formula or cap. |
What does Speed do in Pixel Lineage?
Speed is an in-game stat: the documented Tempest Oath raises it at all three ranks. Our reviewed sources do not establish exactly how Speed translates into turn order, extra turns, or thresholds. We therefore do not publish the unverified “Speed ÷ 100” formula or claim a hard cap.
When comparing two items, retain the full stat lines and observe the same encounter at the same difficulty. A different kill order, status effect or pet action can otherwise look like a Speed effect.
Elements, Perfect and POW
Effects can refer to specific damage types: Sylvan’s bonus concerns Nature, while Slime’s resistance and weakness distinguish Blunt from Fire. Those examples do not prove a complete elemental matchup wheel.
For “Perfect” versus “POW”, use the full in-game label and tooltip. The reviewed sources do not establish a numerical comparison between these abbreviations, so there is no supported universal winner.
